Kananaskis Summer Maternity Session

One of the challenges of being an Alberta photographer is dealing with the crazy weather. The afternoon of Kearra’s summer maternity session in Kananaskis there was an insane wind storm and we had to make the call to reschedule. I’m so glad that we did because on the evening of our session we got the most epic light over the mountains. It was one of those perfect summer nights that you dream of all winter. My advice for planning your maternity session in Alberta is to book it for around 7 months so you still have lots of time to reschedule if you need to.
