Fun Wedding at Venue 308 in Downtown Calgary

Vintage inspired wedding photos wth blue moped in the background

When Jaylene and Elliot reached out to me about capturing their wedding at Venue 308 in downtown Calgary they said that their number one priority was having a great time with their friends and family. They didn’t want to spend a ton of time taking formal wedding photos, instead they wanted to hit a local Calgary brewery for beers with their crew. They also hired a band for later in the evening and wanted to make sure I could be there to capture the dance party. I love when couples plan fun little moments on their day. It sounds cliche but it really does fly by so if you don’t plan these activities into your timeline then they likely won’t happen. I’m also a firm believer in not spending hours taking photos, I’ve been a bridesmaid where we did that and it was definitely the opposite of fun. So if you’re starting to wedding plan I highly recommend scheduling in a pit stop for brews.
